Wildcat engine

I was in a car going down a verdurous sloping road in reddish soil.
The car had no accelerator, steering wheel or anything like that to control it.
The farther the car went narrower the road got, however it gathered speed despite of risk.
But all I could do was watch. Many shadowy images kept coming in and out of my field of vision.
An old woman was standing on the side of a narrow road.
As I was strongly hoping that the car wouldnft crash into her, I leaned in the opposite direction.
Indeed the car followed in like manner, and banked upon the opposite shoulder on the road.
Thankfully it stopped in the end.
There was a big tree right in front of the car which seemed to be pleasant to climb.
The woman was bowing her head to me, though this mad car and I did her in.
I got out of the car. It was the property of a church and I went in.
A minister there took me to a room and we began work at mathematics on the blackboard.
